Great Hills Park

TREE BIOLOGY TRAINING

The Forestry Division of our AUSTN parks department will have a tree biology training for all current and future volunteers working at the playscape and along our trails.. Volunteers will learn proper care for our trees and woody shrubs. PARD has long been concerned about pruning in our park and strongly requests our volunteers and future volunteers to attend this training. As part of the training, volunteers will learn what tools to use and how to use them. . An obvious perk of participating in this training is that what you learn will translate to your trees at your home.

DATE: Saturday, January 28

TIME: Training will start at 9AM. Best to reserve your morning for the training as it is uncertain how long the training will last.

PLACE: Training will be in the park playscape area, 10801 Sierra Oaks. Meet in the pavilion.
