Due to the predicted inclement weather tomorrow, the geology walk has been postponed until further notice.
Join us as we explore the park trails with real geologists from the Austin Geological Society! We will be looking at cool rock formations, natural springs and hunting for fossils. We’ll meet at the Floral Park entrance to the park on Saturday Nov 19, at 10:00am (lasting roughly until 11:30, come and go as needed.) Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather. Feel free to bring a walking stick for stability if you have one – the small streams we will cross may have water in them! Trails are not paved and there are no restrooms in the park. All ages of humans welcome, but please leave the pets at home for this event.
