Trail Chair (leadership role) – If you love the park trails and are experienced in maintenance, planning and landscaping we currently are looking for someone to lead the trail work.
Gardening Chair (leadership role) – If you love the park gardens and are experienced in maintenance, planning and landscaping we are currently looking for someone to lead the gardening work.
Gardening and Watering – This is an ongoing need to help keep the weeds in the native plant beds under control and to water our younger trees. This is a great way to learn about native and deer resistant plants. We meet every Friday morning from 7:30-9am at the playscape end of the park. Kiosk Keeper for the playscape kiosk – This job just involves putting up and taking down things in a timely manner and keeping the glass clean and free of taped notices which damage the Plexiglas.
Park Reporter – Is there someone who enjoys writing? We need someone to report on park projects and events. These writings would appear on our kiosks as well as this web site.
Your park is what you make it – GET INVOLVED! Do you have a project in mind? Do you have a project or idea that you’d like to see implemented in the park, but don’t know where to start? Contact Marie Laing for help. She won’t take the project on for you, but she’ll point you in the right direction.
