Park workdays are held twice a year – in the Fall and Spring. The Spring Workday is typically the first Saturday in March and the Fall Workday is typically the first Saturday in November. They run from 9 am to 12 noon and consist of general trail work, invasive plant removal, trash pickup, spreading mulch, cleaning the chimney swift towers and planting native gardens and wildflower meadows, etc. Gloves and tools are provided and snacks and refreshments are too. It’s a fun way to spend the morning, with friends and neighbors who care for the park.
If you use and enjoy the park and the trails, remember that they exist because of volunteers like yourself.
