Spring It’s My Park workday
More than 50 volunteers came out for APF’s It’s My Park Day on Sat, March 5. We planted more than 40 new rosemary plants at the Sierra Nevada front garden and at the Floral Park entrance to replace the ones that didn’t survive Snowpocalypse 2021. We planted new coral honeysuckle along the fence by the exercise equipment and we refreshed the new pollinator garden at the telescope. We also did some general maintenance and trash pickup down in the park along the trails. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, coffee, breakfast tacos and spending the morning with friends and neighbors.
