SEWAGE PIPELINE PROJECT
A pipeline inspection company working for Austin Water completed their assigned pipe inspections in the area in the January. The inspection videos and pipe scoring are being reviewed by Austin Water. Once the review is complete, a scope for a project to line some of the wastewater lines in the neighborhood and continuing downstream toward Loop 360 will be finalized. The liner is inserted into the existing pipe and it extends the life of the pipe. Once the scope is finalized, a design engineer will be assigned to the project. It will be roughly 3 years before any construction begins and there will be public meeting(s) during the design phase.
